Vocational Training – personal achievement

In an era where economy is internationalized and the competition is increased, the access in the labor market demands special knowledge and skills.

“The Vocational Training S.A.” company – OAED has the responsibility of the function of 28 Institutes of Vocational Training (IEK).

The aim of the IEK’s programs is the provision of Vocational Training, initial or complementary by ensuring to the trainees the relevant qualifications, as well as the possibility to obtain a Diploma of Vocational Training, after their successful certification into programs that do not incorporate at the typical training system.

To whom it is addressed

The Institutes of Vocational Training (IEK) accept High School Graduates, Technical Educational Schools (TEE) of second cycle graduates, as well as gymnasium graduates.

The graduates of Technical-Professional High Schools study for four semesters, those of Technical High School with specialization in their field study for two semesters and those of Gymnasium are obliged to study for two semesters (IEK level 1). Every year of training consists of two semesters of training – winter and spring semesters – each one of which includes 14 weeks of training. The IEK of the company are adequately equipped, so that they can respond to the needs of the labor market, as they are imposed by the technological evolution.

Provisions

  1. Scholarships of the best students in A B C semesters.
  2. Scholarships per department in all semesters.
  3. Thematic papers in the C and D semesters in all specialties.
  4. Programming of a 6month practice.
  5. Reinforcement teaching of the graduates in order to prepare the certification.
  6. Payment of bulletins of certification to all graduates for their first participation in the exams.
  7. Provision of laboratories – educational material – beyond the school’s timetable, in terms of weekly scheduled basis.

 Supporting Documents

   

  1. The applications are submitted at the local IEK between 1-15/9 for the winter semester and between 15-31/1 for the spring semester.
  2. Diploma of studies (accurate photocopy, translated and accurate by OEEK in case they come from abroad)
  3. Identification card
  4. Documentation of previous professional experience in the specialty they wish to participate (if they have)
  5. Certification of belonging in a family with many children or certification of being orphan (if they belong in this category).
  6. The choice is made electronically, under a basis of the diploma’s note, the age, the previous professional experience, as well as the status of belonging in a family with many children or of being an orphan.

Obligations - restrictions

Every trainee in a public IEK provides tuition reaching the amount of 250 EUROS for every training semester. The course is obligatory for four autonomic semesters.

The participation of the trainees is compulsory in theoretical, laboratorial and mixed classes. Their evaluation is attained by progress exams during the semester, as well as by the final exams at the end of the semester. The trainees that complete successfully their training are obtaining a Certification of Vocational Training at the exams of certification of vocational training in order to obtain the diploma of Vocational Training of second graded level.

 Extra information

The diploma of Vocational Training that the high school graduates can obtain is acknowledged by the member-states of the EU.
